We spent about 3 hours taking shots at the Lotus Hotel

Normally I take shots downstairs at the Bar and Grill, but today I was upstairs. It really isn't safe or smart to be up there. Dead birds and live birds are everywhere. I am sure I have contracted some weird form of bird flu.

The Lotus Hotel is above the Lotus Cardroom and Cafe. The cardroom is where I met Krista. So it has a special place in our relationship. More after the "Read More" link.

This started with a tripod...

We had the camera already, I needed a tripod. Then I realized I need a better camera. Then I realized I was having fun. I started taking pictures and I thought it would be fun to stitch the pictures together in Photoshop/Gimp. Somebody mentioned Autostitch and its been downhill ever since. In a good way.

Get Autostitch and try it out. Here are some examples of both autostitch and no autostitch:

With autostitch it does its best, sometimes it is interesting, sometimes it is weird. The carnival shot has a body without a head and a head without a body. So your mileage may vary. For me, it is fun.
